About
I’m a musician, ecstatic dance DJ, facilitator, artist, and designer. I got started dancing and DJing in the warehouses and beaches of Brighton in the mid-90s. Since then I’ve played at events with Warp and Rephlex records artists, and had my music played by Aphex Twin, John Peel (Radio 1), and John Kennedy (XFM).
I later played at London clubs with numbers in their names, like 93 Feet East, Cafe 1001, 333 (Mother), warehouse parties with 19-T, toured Europe with noise band Infants, and DJ’d at clubs in Japan like the legendary Milk.
After becoming dissilusioned with the club scene, I got deep into meditation, sitting over a dozen silent 10-day courses with the Vipassana Foundation in the UK, Sri Lanka, and Japan.
I had a lot of fun playing gigs and DJing round the world – Tokyo, Paris, New York, London. But all those parties pale into comparison with the experiences I’ve had recently at Ecstatic Dance events. It’s a real thrill to find something that meets my needs for meditation, music, and movement.
